Rev. Joseph Ogezi

Rev. Ogezi, an indigene of Ado local government area was born on June 24th, 1968.

He attended Wesley Transferred School, Apa-Agila between 1971 and 1977 where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate, FSLC. Thereafter, he proceeded to Government Secondary School, Ulayi, 1977-82 and obtained the General Certificate of Education, GCE, ordinary level. In 1990, Rev. Ogezi attended the International College of Ministries and Biblical Studies, and obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Theology and Biblical Studies.

In 2005, Rev. Ogezi was admitted into the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo where he graduated in 2006 with Diploma in Public Administration. In 2006 he enrolled for Advanced Diploma in Public Administration at the same institution which he obtained in 2007.

He also attended the Institute of Development Finance and Project Management in 2012 and graduated in 2015 as a Fellow, Development Finance and Project Management (FDFPM).

Rev. Ogezi had a stint with the Bendel Insurance Company in 1986 before joining the Nigerian Railway Corporation, where he worked until 1990. He also worked as Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of African Community Development Project Limited before becoming Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ado local government area, from 1999 to 2007. Rev Ogezi was also Director of Missions at African Interior Ministry.

Rev. Ogezi’s hobbies include reading, farming and adventure.
