Hon. Ucha Dominic Terkaa

Tiev (Vandeikya) State Constituency (PDP)

Born September 16, 1974, Hon. Ucha started his educational pursuits in 1980 at RCM Primary School, Adamgbe, Mbayongo in Vandeikya Local Government where he came out with the FSLC in 1986. He proceeded to St. Peter’s Secondary School, Vandeikya in 1986 and graduated in 1991 with a Senior School Certificate. In 1994, he attended the School of Remedial Studies, Makurdi, where he sat for, and obtained his IJMB in 1995. He was to later in 1996, gain admission to study for a B.Sc in Political Sciences which he obtained in 2000.

After the mandatory youth service which he worked as an Administrative Officer at the Delta State House of Assembly between May 2001 and May 2002, was employed at the National Programme on Immunization, Abuja as Administrative Officer II from 2004 to 2006. In 2001 he was appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Benue State, where he served until 2014.

In 2015, Hon. Ucha contested for and won the Assembly seat for Vandeikya State Constituency on the ticket of the APC and was subsequently sworn in on June 6, 2015.

The soft spoken Assembly man says he wants to “work in a dynamic and globally focused environment with a reputation for integrity and excellence where I can be challenged, experience cultural diversity with a continued learning process, provide qualitative leadership skills, and experience for the attainment of the organization’s goals”.

Hon Ucha is happily married.
