Hon. Memga Udende Emmanuel was born 56 years ago in Zaki-Biam, Ukum LGA of Benue State and currently a member representing Katsina/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
His educational pursuit began at NKST primary school Pevikay where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1973. He proceeded to Marmara government School where he obtained his WASC in 1980. Between 1980 and 1985 he attended the University of Maiduguri, Borno State and graduated with the Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B). He called to bar in 1986 after obtaining his BL from the Nigerian Law School.
Hon. Udende ventured into private practice after his call to bar.
He was deputy chairman of Ukum LGa from 1991 – 1993 and 1996-1997. He was also appointed a Commissioner during the Senator George Akume’s led government as was given the Ministry of Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs to handle.
Having performed credibly, he contested for the House of Representative position in 2011 & 2015 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party and won the elections. He became a member of the All Progressives Congress in 2016.
Emmanuel Udende is a member House Committee on Police Affairs.
He is married with children
