Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia Monday , October 14, 2024 departs Abuja for Dubai, United Arab Emirates to attend the 2024 GITEX GLOBAL Summit.
The summit which is scheduled to start today will last till Friday, October 18, 2024.
GITEX GLOBAL is the largest tech and startup event in the world which is rated globally by tech executives as the best tech event in the world for global networking and ecosystem innovation development.
This year’s theme, “Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy,” highlights the global efforts and commitment to harnessing AI’s transformative capabilities for the betterment of humanity, societies, governments, and businesses.
The summit will explore macroeconomic and geopolitical factors shaping tech policy, regulation, and investment
Governor Alia’s engagements with the public and private sector participants and visiting delegations will open
new collaborative opportunities for his government to create a most competitive outcome conducive to his strategic development plan.
Delegates to attend alongside His Excellency include, Kwaghga Amanda Lennox, Commissioner for Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, Angula Bishop Reuben, Private Secretary/PSA to the Governor on ICT & New Media, Gbande Hembaor Terwase, DG, Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) and Zaki Asen, Adviser to the Governor on International & Global Partnerships
