He said God’s judgment would surely be pronounced upon mischief makers in the country when the blood of those killed by militia herdsmen cry to God, noting that he would continue to speak out until Benue people and Nigerians get justice.
The Governor expressed delight over the exploits young men were making in the Lord’s vineyard, adding that Nigeria and indeed Africa is being evangelised through Benue as prophesized by a man of God in 1979.
In a sermon, Pastor Donald Uke of House of Jubilee, Makurdi urged the congregation to put their faith to work, saying only faith with works would yield the desired result.
In a remark, Pastor Abel Uloko said Governor Ortom had demystified greatness and the euphoria of his office to signify simplicity, adding that God would use the Governor as an instrument to transmit His glory in the state.
In a testimony, Pastor Uloko and his wife said they were still alarmed by the miracle of God for giving them a baby boy in very unusual circumstances, explaining further that the wife miraculously took in without ovulation.
