Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia Sunday, September 29, 2024 joined the priest and lay faithful of Our Lady of Consolation Quasi Parish, Agan Makurdi to worship God.
Governor Alia made a stop over at the church on his way back to the state after attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.
He thanked the worshipping community of Our Lady of Consolation Quasi Parish, Agan for their support and prayers, calling on them to remain steadfast in worshipping God and offer prayers for the development of Benue State and Nigeria at large.
The priest in Charge of the Quasi Parish, Rev. Fr. Alphonsus Utume thanked God for the pleasant surprise of having the Governor of Benue State worship with them, saying the presence of the Governor in their church was a testament to his sterling leadership qualities of love and care for all people irrespective of who they are and where they belong.
Fr. Alphonsus prayed that God’s blessings and grace should continue to be on the Governor and that Almighty God strengthens him both in knowledge and wisdom as he continues to lead the people of Benue State in truth and fairness.
